Job summary

MaxVal Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced US HR leader to oversee operations, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll coordination for our US workforce.

You will partner with US leadership to align with federal/state laws and company policies, ensuring efficient HR processes and strong employee engagement. The role requires deep knowledge of US HR best practices, benefits, and tax forms, with a focus on compliance and strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a US HR Manager or Senior US HR Specialist (6–10 years in US HR operations).
• Hands-on experience with US benefits administration (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, COBRA, FMLA).
• Strong knowledge of US payroll inputs, tax forms (W-4, W-2, 1099, 1095-C), commissions, bonus processing, and FLSA classifications.
• Solid experience managing joining formalities, onboarding, I-9 compliance, employee relations, resignations, and offboarding/terminations.
• Proficiency with US HRIS/Payroll tools and HRMS platforms (Zoho HRMS, ADP, Paylocity, BambooHR, Zoho HR) and MS Office/GSuite.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for leading and managing US HR operations at MaxVal, ensuring alignment with US federal and state labor laws, corporate policies, and business objectives.
• Act as a strategic partner to US leadership and teams, driving efficiency, employee engagement, and operational compliance.
• US HR Operations, Onboarding and Offboarding: Joining formalities and onboarding; Exit management and terminations; HRIS and records management.
• Compensation, Benefits and Payroll Coordination: US benefits and insurance administration; 401(k) administration; Salaries, bonuses and commissions; Tax compliance.
• Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Employee relations; US labor law compliance; updating handbooks and policies.
