Job summary

Zealand Pharma U.S., Inc. is seeking a senior HEOR & RWE leader to design and execute evidence generation strategies for metabolic health portfolios.

You will generate real-world, clinical, and economic evidence to demonstrate value to payers, providers, patients and policymakers. The role requires deep expertise in value demonstration, RWD, and outcomes modeling, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for commercial and clinical decision-making.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MPH or Master’s in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of HEOR/RWE experience in biotech, pharmaceutical organizations or consultancies with pre-launch and commercialization experience.
• Therapeutic area expertise in metabolic, endocrine, or cardiometabolic diseases strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of payer and evidence requirements in the U.S.
• Proficiency in RWD study design and analysis, and patient outcome measure development.
• Proven ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences, including payers, regulators, and cross-functional business leaders.
• Experience leading external collaborators, vendors, and cross-company joint HEOR initiatives.
• Publication track record and presentation experience at peer-reviewed scientific meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global HEOR strategies to support pipeline and lifecycle programs with a US launch focus.
• Lead development of US RWD strategies and partnerships with academic consortia, claims databases, and health systems to support value demonstration.
• Design and implement real-world data analyses to understand patient demographics, treatment patterns, and outcomes.
• Develop AMCP value dossiers, economic modelling and narratives and scientific publications to support value propositions and payer engagement.
• Engage and collaborate with payers, providers, and other access decision-makers to establish and maintain partnerships and gather insights.
• Lead the external dissemination of HEOR/RWE deliverables including publications, presentations, and conferences.
• Provide input to clinical development programs.
