Job summary

Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Director of US Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) & Real World Evidence (RWE) to lead evidence generation aligned with medical and commercial priorities.

You will design rigorous HEOR studies, communicate results, and train field teams on value narratives. Advanced degree in health services research or related field is required; 8+ years in HEOR with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), including presenting studies at scientific conferences and/or in a field role.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives, and collaborating effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Deep understanding of the US healthcare and payer landscape, including reimbursement systems, data assets, and health-system research capabilities.
• Track record of timely execution and completion of research and non-research deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional collaboration and lead development of US HEOR evidence generation strategies in alignment with medical and commercial priorities.
• Lead design, conduct, and publication of methodologically rigorous US HEOR & RWE studies and projects.
• Develop materials (AMCP dossiers, budget impact models, value communication resources) to support customer engagements.
• Train customer-facing teams on value communication resources for client engagements.
• Provide input into development programs and clinical trial protocols as needed; track budgets and timelines.
