Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a Remote Supervising Physician to oversee APPs and provide clinical guidance from South Carolina. This role emphasizes remote consultation, documentation review, and case escalation to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will work with a team across Prisma Health Urgent Care centers, maintaining standard procedures and robust patient safety practices while residing in SC.

Qualifications

• Must reside in South Carolina.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible and SC license to practice medicine.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical consultation and supervision to APPs during assigned periods.
• Review APP documentation and cosign when required by law/credentialing.
• Offer guidance on evaluation, treatment changes, and follow-up plans.
• Escalate high-risk or abnormal findings to higher level of care.
• Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities.
• Support APP practice within supervising physician scope and regulations.
