Prisma Health UC by Wellstreet, LLC is seeking a remote Supervising Physician to oversee APPs for Prisma Health Urgent Care. The role is part-time and remote, with residency required in South Carolina. You will supervise APPs, review cases, and ensure compliance with SC medical board requirements.

You will provide clinical guidance, cosign documentation, and support daily APP operations across centers, while maintaining patient safety and high standards of care.

Formación

• Must be board certified or board eligible and licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Meets credentialing requirements for Prisma Health Urgent Care/WellStreet Urgent Care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and support to APPs during supervision or coverage periods.
• Cosign APP documentation when required by law or policy.
• Provide guidance on escalation to higher level of care and plan of care adjustments.
• Review and advise on high-risk cases and abnormal findings; participate in quality improvement activities.
