Job summary

Included Health is seeking a board-certified physician to provide urgent and primary care across all ages in California. You will maintain patient records, collaborate with teams, and support a high-volume practice with family medicine or internal medicine focus.

The role requires 3+ years post-residency, state license in at least one state, and comfort with technology. Evening and weekend shifts are included; base salary targets around $180,000 with incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine residency.
• 3+ years post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual boarded Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
• Eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC).
• Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state.
• Experience caring for all ages, newborn to adult.
• Ability to function in an integrated medical practice.
• Extensive breadth of clinical expertise.
• Proficient with technology and data handling.
• Not excluded from federal or state health programs; Medicare compliance.
• Must maintain Medicare active status.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, diagnose and document findings.
• Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on safety.
• Document medical information and review patient history.
• Request consultations or referrals when appropriate.
• Counsel and educate patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care and chronic disease.
• Stay updated with current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for labs.
• Schedule shifts including evenings and weekends.
