Job summary

Included Health is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland and other states to deliver virtual comprehensive care across ages. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in high-volume urgent or primary care and multi-state licensure.

Telemedicine experience and Athena EMR proficiency are preferred. The role offers two options: 32 hours/week Modified Full-Time or 20 hours/week Part-Time, with evening/weekend shifts and two holiday shifts annually.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited FNP program with RN licensure.
• Active NP license with RN licensure in state(s).
• Current national FNP certification (AANP/ANCC).
• Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care.
• Telemedicine or video-based care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
• Request consultation or referral with other healthcare providers when appropriate.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results.
• Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
