Job summary

Included Health seeks a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual comprehensive care for patients of all ages from a remote setting.

Ideal candidates hold 3+ years in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care, active RN compact license and multi-state licensure, and national FNP certification (AANP/ANCC). Telemedicine experience and Athena EMR proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
• Active NP license with maintained RN licensure.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Active RN compact license.
• Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred).
• Minimum 3 years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.
• Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations.
• Experience with telemedicine or video-based virtual care.
• Experience with Athena EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
• Request consultation or referral with other healthcare providers when appropriate.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results.
• Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
