Job summary

Included Health is seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in North Carolina to deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients across ages. The role requires multi-licensed practice and at least 3 years in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care.

Ideal candidates hold five or more active state licenses and have telemedicine experience with Athena EMR. Remote-first culture supports flexible scheduling including evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
• Active NP license with RN licensure in accordance with state requirements.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC).
• Active RN compact license and multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years post-training in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care.
• Experience with newborns through adults and telemedicine/virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across lifespan.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
• Provide cross-coverage for lab review and other tasks as needed.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer scheduling flexibility including evenings and weekends.
