Job summary

ICF is seeking an Urban Planner/Designer to join the Environmental and Regulatory Implementation Services team. This remote role supports EPA Brownfields and Land Revitalization projects across the U.S., engaging with communities, states and tribes to assess, clean up and sustainably reuse contaminated properties.

The role emphasizes data analysis, visualization, client deliverables, and broad stakeholder engagement, with frequent collaboration on reports, plans, and public outreach materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, urban design, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on technically oriented community revitalization and economic development projects, brownfields experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support development of small area plans, downtown revitalization policies, and site reuse strategies across varied redevelopment scales.
• Perform data collection, and qualitative/quantitative analysis for redevelopment projects.
• Analyze data sets (demographic, real estate, consumer spending) and prepare graphs, charts, and visualizations.
• Contribute to client work products including reports, presentations, and fact sheets.
• Support stakeholder outreach through in-person and virtual engagement activities.
