Job summary

ICF seeks a Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer/Scientist to provide project management and technical support for EPA projects with the Office of Superfund and Emergency Management, Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization, and Office of Resource Conservation and Recovery.

Ideal candidate has experience leading Superfund remediation at mining sites, with expertise in site characterization, cost estimation, and delivering technical deliverables for clients and training materials for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, or similar discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience conducting site characterization and remediation of Superfund, Brownfields, and other contaminated sites.
• Mining remediation experience and knowledge of EPA Superfund cleanup program are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EPA remediation projects and provide technical support for OSEM, OBLR, and ORCR.
• Develop conceptual site models, site strategies, and optimization recommendations.
• Direct multi‑disciplinary teams and manage client engagement.
• Lead technology transfer, training, and cost estimation activities.
