Job summary

ICF seeks an Urban Planner / Designer to join the Environmental and Regulatory Implementation Services team. You will assist with contaminated site redevelopment, adaptive reuse, community revitalization, and economic development across the U.S., supporting EPA OBLR programs and interacting with federal, state, and local clients.

The role is remote with a preference for proximity to ICF’s Denver, CO location, offering opportunities to develop data-driven plans, engagement materials, and visuals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, urban design, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience supporting technically oriented projects in community revitalization and economic development areas; experience with brownfields site redevelopment or other related infill development.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of small area plans, downtown revitalization policies and strategies, site reuse strategies, and site plans across multiple reuse scales.
• Perform research, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis for redevelopment projects.
• Analyze and synthesize data sets (demographic, real estate, consumer spending) and create graphs, charts, tables, and data visualizations.
• Support development of client work products including reports, engagement materials, conceptual designs, market analyses, presentations, and fact sheets.
• Assist with stakeholder outreach and engagement activities, including in-person and virtual events and related communication materials.
