Job summary

ICF seeks a Senior Environmental Planner to support our Mountain West planning team. This role involves NEPA compliance, environmental permitting, and studies for energy, transportation, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

You will work with regulatory agencies, clients, and a multidisciplinary team to prepare NEPA documents, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff. We value collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in natural or physical science, public policy, economics, environmental management, or related subjects.
• 4+ years of environmental consulting experience for government or private sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete major tasks for permitting and NEPA documents.
• Organize work across multiple projects with diverse topics.
• Interact with staff, clients, and experts across disciplines.
• Interface with key agencies and clients to build relationships.
• Train, develop, and may direct junior staff.
