Job summary

Crystal Dynamics offers a remote spring internship across most U.S. states, a 12‑week program, and 40 hours per week. Onboarding includes one week onsite at the San Carlos, CA studio. Interns will work with experienced mentors on AAA game projects, gaining industry-ready skills and professional relationships.

The program emphasizes hands‑on project involvement, mentorship, and skill development, with opportunities to collaborate with onsite and remote teams and contribute to active AAA pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprint scripting shown in a project or coursework.
• Strong interest in learning and applying game development tools and workflows.
• Portfolio should demonstrate gameplay logic, systems, or level prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Unreal Engine workflows and Blueprint scripting to turn ideas into playable gameplay.
• Reproduce issues, debug Blueprint logic, and tune gameplay values for movement and combat.
• Prototype scoped gameplay features under project leadership and iterate via feedback.
• Develop repeatable workflows for designing, building, and testing gameplay and levels.
