Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in commercial lines underwriting.
• Experience in the E&S competitive marketplace preferred.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in Manufacturing and Products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters and brokers to achieve premium, rate and profitability goals.
• Refine and update Underwriting Guidelines.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in hiring.
• Drive broker engagement strategies to grow new business and renewals.
• Apply analytics to distribution management and maintain own book of business.
