AECOM is seeking an Underground Transmission Designer to join our Energy practice in a remote role based anywhere in the United States. You will lead the design and delivery of underground transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and grid modernization projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, ensure technical excellence, and support projects from concept through construction while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with transmission and distribution substation projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
• Experience mentoring designers or engineers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering and design of transmission and distribution substation projects.
• Provide technical guidance for substation design, protection, grounding, equipment layouts.
• Develop and review one-line diagrams, protection schemes, equipment specs, construction packages.
• Support planning through construction with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
