Job summary
La Fosse is recruiting a Software Engineer / DevOps / Platform Engineer for a major UK Government client. This remote role focuses on Python development, cloud infrastructure, data processing and modern platform technologies.
You will design, build and operate scalable services, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions in a government context.
Qualifications
- Strong Python development and data processing experience.
- Experience with Elasticsearch data indexing and query optimization.
- Experience with real-time data pipelines (Numaflow or similar).
- Cloud experience developing, deploying and supporting Azure-based solutions.
- CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native deployment expertise.
- Active SC or equivalent security clearance.
- Government / secure environment delivery experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications and platform services using Python.
- Build and optimise data processing pipelines with Elasticsearch and Numaflow.
- Develop, deploy and support cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Support reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and optimise applications and platform performance.
- Collaborate with software, data and infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions.
