Job summary

Reflex Media, the team behind Seeking.com, seeks a UI/UX Designer to shape premium dating experiences across web and mobile. You will work with the CEO and Head of Product in a cross-functional pod to craft onboarding, discovery, matching, messaging, and subscription surfaces that feel emotionally rich and trusted.

Qualifications

• A portfolio of shipped consumer product work that shows exceptional UI/UX craft.
• Consistent customer obsession: start with the user and end with impact.
• Systems thinking: anticipate edge cases and design every state.
• Design for emotion with motion, transitions, video, and texture.
• Relentless curiosity to understand the member and learn fast.
• Smart risk-taking: test bold ideas and learn quickly.
• Three+ years of hands-on UI/UX or product design in consumer B2C/mobile/subscription.
• Expert Figma: components, auto-layout, tokens, multi-file library.
• Daily use of AI tools (Claude/Cursor) to drive scalable results.
• Comfort with funnel/engagement data (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase).
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own customer obsession through interviews, sessions, support tickets, and beta groups.
• Turn learnings into designs that match how members want to browse, connect, and communicate.
• Design complete flows with all states and edge cases; extend design system when needed.
• Break complex problems into small, shippable steps to maintain momentum.
• Work inside and extend the design system for new patterns.
• Create motion, video, and texture to guide and reward user actions.
• Keep settings, payments, and verification fast and effortless.
• Make member actions visually rewarding (photos, profiles, verification).
• Shape onboarding, discovery, messaging, and self-presentation experiences.
• Iterate from funnel and engagement data; prototype in Figma/Framer/Cursor and test with real users.
• Collaborate with pod, and use tools like Claude/Cursor to accelerate shipping.
• Help build design team agent workflows and playbooks for scale.
