Job summary

Rolls-Royce offers a 12-week UI/UX Designer Intern program. This remote role supports the Defense Digital and IT Team on the Defense Software Factory, turning ideas into usable interfaces.

You will collaborate with engineers, write user stories, and design and mock apps while contributing to the global Cobalt design system and ensuring accessibility and usability.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in Graphic Design or UX/HCI, with a 3.0 GPA, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Graphic Design/UX).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• U.S. citizen; eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Engineering to define user-friendly designs.
• Create and refine user stories and design mockups.
• Contribute to the global design system and ensure accessibility and usability across products.
• Work with internal and contracted teams to translate requirements into visuals.
