Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a UI/UX and Design Analyst to drive user-centered design for mission-critical systems. The role blends sprint planning, usability testing, prototyping, and iterative improvements while collaborating with users, engineers, and stakeholders in an accessibility- and compliance-focused environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and currently reside in the United States.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio across web-based and client-server apps.
• Experience conducting usability testing and user research.
• Experience in the government sector, DHS desirable.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma or similar.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles; ability to create wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevSecOps environments.
• Experience with accessibility standards and regulations, government projects preferred.
• Current Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain such clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead design sprints, user research, usability testing, and design reviews.
• Analyze user data to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
• Apply GUI design expertise for client-server applications, including Windows UI screens.
• Create intuitive, efficient, accessible designs for web and client-server apps.
• Evaluate screen prototypes for usability, efficiency and accuracy.
• Iterate designs based on feedback to refine the user interface.
• Design user experiences for new and existing web-based applications from concept to delivery.
• Develop workflows that are intuitive and accessible for end users.
• Communicate ideas using low and high-fidelity mockups.
• Present concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback for final delivery.
• Create short- and long-term UI/UX visions to maintain consistency.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to implement approved designs.
• Mentor team members on best practices in UI/UX and user research.
