Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a UI Engineering Lead to implement responsive UI systems in Unreal 5 and guide a team of engineers. You will work with a cross-disciplinary group to deliver delightful player experiences for a new franchise at teamLFG.

The role emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and collaboration across disciplines, with a flexible remote arrangement and competitive benefits. Previous shipping experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++.
• Experience building and maintaining UXUI systems (HUDs, menus, fonts, localization workflows).
• Experience leading engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-quality UI systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5.
• Directly hire, manage and lead engineers within the UI subdiscipline, providing mentorship and career development coaching.
• Provide technical guidance in UXUI systems to empower teammates across gameplay disciplines.
• Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build new player experiences.
