Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a design systems engineer to advance our component library with token-based UI elements, patterns, and documentation. You will build reusable components and establish accessible, consistent variants across products, while integrating with Claude Code and related tooling to connect design and code.

The role requires hands-on experience with Figma, design tokens, and Storybook, plus strong written and asynchronous collaboration across design and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building and owning a design system component library.
• Proven ability to document design system usage for teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine core UI components on top of tokens and typography.
• Ensure components reusability across six-workspace shell patterns.
• Define variant/state conventions and responsive behavior.
• Create component usage guidelines and accessibility notes.
• Map design tokens to code; document mapping clearly.
• Set up or extend a Storybook-based single source of truth.
