Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Unified Endpoint Management Team Lead to join the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, supporting a large digital modernization program for DISA and DoD Fourth Estate Agencies. The role leads engineers in designing, deploying, and managing endpoint migration solutions to migrate DoD endpoints to DISA’s cloud-based DoDNet Gen2 environment.

Clearance: active DoD Secret or higher required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years of relevant experience.
Experience managing teams of engineers and fostering communication across the team.
Expertise in the deployment and management of UEM/MDM technologies, including MECM and Intune.
Expertise packaging applications in MECM and Intune and managing MECM and Intune environments.
Expertise in troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and establishing remediation plans.
Experience using PowerShell or other scripting tools to facilitate endpoint migrations.
Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team with strong written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.

Responsibilities

Design and implement user endpoint management (UEM) solutions.
Design and implement automation solutions to facilitate the migration process and ensure a seamless end user experience.
Provide coherent, transparent, and inclusive technical direction to the engineering team to ensure tasks are clearly defined, articulated, assigned, and tracked to completion.
Actively work to remove blockers for the engineering team.
Continually identify opportunities for improvement, including innovations in the UEM domain aimed at improving the user experience, improving efficiencies, and lowering sustainment costs.
Enforce security best practices and guidelines, leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security.
Initiate frequent interactions with the team of engineers to identify areas of improvement and facilitate their career growth, including participation in annual performance reviews.
