Job summary

Independent Age is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager to grow income from charitable trusts and foundations. You will build strategic relationships, develop persuasive proposals and secure funding to support older people facing financial hardship.

Based in the UK with flexible working options, the role offers part-time hours and a mix of home-based or hybrid working in London, with a dedicated portfolio to manage and targets to meet through proactive fundraising.

Qualifications

• Substantial trusts and foundations fundraising experience.
• Strong written communication and relationship-management skills.
• Confident managing a portfolio, priorities and income targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of trust and foundation funders.
• Research prospects and build a strong funding pipeline.
• Write high-quality applications, proposals and reports.
• Build long-term relationships with funders and collaborate across the charity.
• Track performance and contribute to fundraising planning and forecasting.
