Job summary

The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes is looking to grow and diversify its charitable income, working with the Executive Director and a small central team to develop funding opportunities and relationships.

This part-time role is 14 hours weekly, home-based with travel to members and events; occasional overnight stays may be required. Advertised actual annual salary £12,400; FTE £31,000. Experience in grants, trusts and online giving is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven fundraising success, including grants and trusts.
• Strong persuasive writing and relationship-building; independent planning.
• Experience with online giving, legacies or corporate fundraising, CRM databases; remote working desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop grants, trust applications and corporate support alongside online giving, legacies and new income streams.
• Build donor relationships and work towards income targets.
• Monitor results, maintain fundraising records and handle enquiries.
• Support events, the strategic plan and ADCH’s values; act as an ambassador at meetings.
