Litigation Paralegal — Trust & Probate Litigation

Location: Irvine, CA (92614) and San Diego, CA (92121) — Remote

About the Opportunity

A highly respected California trust and probate litigation firm — led by attorneys recognized on the California Super Lawyers list and board-certified in Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate Law by the State Bar of California — is expanding its litigation team across two offices. This firm has built its reputation on tenacious courtroom advocacy, with attorneys collectively bringing 100+ trials of experience to complex, high-stakes trust and probate disputes.

The team is growing quickly — three additional attorneys are starting soon — and this firm is looking for litigation paralegals who want meaningful work with a clear mission: protecting elderly and vulnerable clients from financial abuse, undue influence, and fiduciary misconduct.

This is confidential, multi-location hiring for several litigation paralegal seats.

What You'll Work On

• Trust and will contests
• Probate and trust administration disputes
• Breach of fiduciary duty matters
• Conservatorships and trust petitions
• Inheritance disputes and general estate litigation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of heavy civil litigation experience (any practice area welcome except immigration and criminal; business litigation backgrounds are a great fit)
• Direct experience with discovery, serving discovery and subpoenas, process serving, and deposition/trial preparation, including exhibit prep
• Comfort working in probate court is a plus, even without formal probate litigation experience
• Trust or conservatorship litigation experience is a significant advantage
• Proficiency with Adobe (exhibit prep, bookmarking) required
• Comfort using AI tools in daily workflow (currently used for case summaries)
• Experience in a Microsoft-based office environment

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $135,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
