Job summary

Confidential Employer in Irvine, CA, seeks an experienced attorney to manage a diverse trust, estate, probate, and conservatorship litigation docket. You will independently handle cases, advise clients on strategy and risk, and collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of attorney experience required.
• 1+ year of probate law experience required.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, legal risks, and case developments.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, petitions, and other legal documents.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, subpoenas, and evidence collection.
• Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and other proceedings.
• Work closely with clients to develop effective legal strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
• Participate in trial preparation and bench trials as experience permits.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced practice.

Location

Irvine, California. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll collaborate closely with attorneys, staff, and clients in a supportive office environment.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and have at least 5 years of attorney experience. Litigation experience is strongly preferred but not required.
