Job summary

Bernard Law Injury Lawyers in the United States seeks a results-driven Trial Attorney to join our growing team. This full-time, remote role handles pleadings, depositions, and trial materials for high-stakes civil cases while collaborating with a Pacific Northwest client base.

You must hold a JD and be admitted to the Washington bar, with strong advocacy and organizational skills, and a willingness to work across remote and court engagements. Civil litigation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD required and must be admitted to the Washington bar.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Highly motivated to learn and grow.
• Very well organized.
• Civil litigation or personal injury experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings (complaints, motions, oppositions).
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions.
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare pre-arbitration, arbitration, pre-trial documents and trial materials.
• Active participation in trial.
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up case file.
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation, active participation in negotiating settlements.
• Regular client communication.
• Assist in management of litigation assistants and paralegals.
• Attend regular trainings for professional development.
