BCG Attorney Search seeks a fully remote associate attorney to support civil litigation matters for Montana, Idaho, or Utah. Responsibilities include depositions, pleadings, motions, and discovery, with strong emphasis on research and written advocacy. Requires JD and bar admission in MT/UT/ID, plus excellent writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD required and bar admission in MT/UT/ID or ability to transfer
• Civil litigation experience required
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-critical matters

Responsibilities

• Take depositions and attend hearings and mediations as required
• Draft and submit pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
• Draft discovery requests and responses
• Review and analyze documents for production
• Investigate claims and develop case handling strategies
• Report to insurance carrier clients and insureds
• Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in proceedings
