Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking an Issue Analysis Engineer to support autonomous vehicle testing from a remote workspace. You will analyze issues, perform triage and root-cause analysis, and report findings to cross-functional teams to improve designs and testing methods.

You will also develop documentation and tooling for issue analysis, collect routine test data, provide performance feedback, and participate in in-car testing requests as part of a full-time, remote-friendly role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, software engineering or related field.
• 1+ year automotive or 3+ years autonomous vehicle testing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and autonomous driving functions.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle testing and in-car test execution.
• Experience with Linux.
• Programming experience in Python, Java or similar language.
• Autonomous driving issue triage experience preferred.
• Experience in autonomous vehicle software testing or development preferred.
• Strong communication skills and motivation to learn evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze issues identified during daily autonomous vehicle software testing and perform triage, root-cause analysis, categorization, reporting and summaries.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand functional designs and maintain technical knowledge.
• Develop documentation and tools for issue analysis.
• Collect data from routine in-vehicle tests and provide software performance feedback.
• Implement in-car testing based on test requests.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
