Job summary

HireArt is assisting a client in finding a Triage Engineer to bolster reliability and performance of automotive products by evaluating simulation results and linking testing outcomes to system and safety requirements.

You will analyze simulations, determine pass/fail against criteria, investigate failures, and identify likely root causes across software, testing, and systems engineering teams. This onsite role is based in San Francisco, CA and emphasizes rapid, iterative feedback loops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/EE/Systems/Engineering, Robotics, or related field or 4+ years experience.
• 2+ years in safety-critical, complex systems such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, automotive, or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Review simulation and test results to determine pass/fail against criteria.
• Triage failures and identify high-level root causes.
• Reproduce drive-data failures in simulation when possible and route findings to owners.
• Collaborate with software, testing, and systems teams to drive issues toward resolution.
