Job summary

HireArt is helping our client recruit a Triage Operator & SW Development to investigate autonomous vehicle issues in on-road and simulation environments and fix production C++ code. The role blends data analysis with hands-on software development, requiring strong C++ skills and the ability to work across operations and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates will have AV triage experience, a STEM background, and proven ability to analyze logs, sensor data, and simulation outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years in data science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years triaging autonomous vehicle issues.
• Hands-on C++ programming experience in production environments.
• Experience investigating issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
• Recent STEM graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex on-road and simulation data to identify AV issues.
• Correlate on-road issues with simulation scenarios for reproduction and testing.
• Investigate root causes by tracing issues through the C++ autonomy stack.
• Develop targeted C++ bug fixes and submit PRs to the autonomy repository.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Ops, Simulation Ops, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
