Job summary

Advance Local Media is seeking an Account Executive – Travel & Tourism to drive strategic and profitable revenue growth in the travel category. This remote-based role supports CVBs/DMOs, delivers data-driven campaigns, and manages client relationships from a home office with occasional travel to conferences and client sites.

The position combines base salary with commissions; base $50,000–$60,000/year with total target compensation of $95,000–$105,000, requiring a bachelor’s degree and digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of digital advertising sales in travel/tourism.
• Proven track record in increasing sales in a competitive market.
• Experience selling digital media advertising preferred; quick learner required.
• Thorough knowledge of needs-based selling.
• Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Excellent relationship-building, written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients regularly to drive revenue growth.
• Apply needs-based selling to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Focus on profitable revenue growth and sales targets.
• Identify new revenue opportunities.
• Develop and deliver client presentations with data analysis.
• Manage pipeline using Salesforce.com for consistent growth.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Oversee post-sale campaign execution and client communications.
• Work from home and travel to meet clients and attend events.
