Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Remote Traveling Supply Chain Ops Specialist for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This salaried role is remote with travel to site locations across the Midwest, primarily on a remote basis.

The position requires strong logistics knowledge and supervisory experience, with WMS/MHE proficiency and OSHA/DOT/Hazmat familiarity. Pay ranges from $57,500 to $62,500 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• 1 year or more in logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• WMS intermediate preferred.
• MHE intermediate required.
• OSHA intermediate required.
• DOT and Hazmat intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work group(s).
• Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists.
• Lead and initiate employees through in-depth training and continuous review of policies, procedures and processes.
• Decision making for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls, and customer interactions.
• Support and aid in the development of system and process training for employees in the work group(s).
• Identify and solve operational issues with continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
