Job summary

Project Expedition is seeking a Travel Planning Specialist to join the Custom and Groups team. You will design, quote, sell, and support custom experiences for travelers worldwide, from private tours to large group programs.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, excel at communication, and can manage multiple complex requests with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. This remote role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

Communicate with travel advisors via email and phone using internal ticketing system.
Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service.
Collaborate with tour operators to design custom and group itineraries.
Create tailored proposals and quotes based on group needs.
Manage requests from single tours to multi-day group programs.
Troubleshoot issues in real time and offer creative solution ideas.
Build and maintain tour content, pricing, and logistics for groups and custom programs.
Coordinate capacities, schedules, and operational details with vendors.
Keep advisors and operators updated on itinerary changes.
