Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking a Field Admissions Representative to recruit students in a 120-mile radius, primarily in Columbus, OH.

The role emphasizes building relationships with local high schools, delivering in-person presentations, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, extroverted, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience with public speaking preferred.
• Industry knowledge preferred.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools and local communities.
• Conducts in-person presentations at high schools and offsite events.
• Maintains a consultative mindset for informative interviews and CRM follow-up.
• Presents to educators to encourage students to attend UTI programs.
• Maintains knowledge of Universal Technical Institute programs, financing options and related information.
• Meets or exceeds enrollment goals through outreach and recruitment.
• Adheres to compliance criteria and procedures by external regulators and UTI.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
