Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Scheduler for the School of Origin Transportation Program.

The role starts onsite in Middletown, CT for 2 months, then becomes remote with a focus on scheduling and dispatching drivers via Route Genie to meet student transports. Responsibilities include handling last-minute routing changes, maintaining call logs, and ensuring accurate data entry and timely communication with providers, parents, and DCF.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional communication skills and a great customer service attitude at all times.
• Strong data entry and computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and dispatch software.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; 2+ years in customer service and data entry environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive last minute schedule changes and adjust routes in Route Genie.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager to address service issues.
• Maintain logs of calls, cancellations, and no-shows; enter data in spreadsheets/databases.
• Dispatch drivers to routes and notify them of time-sensitive changes.
• Respond to questions regarding transportation issues and learn scheduling software (Route Genie).
• Data entry of new student paperwork for transport and generate shift reports.
• Work schedule from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm; some hours may vary.
