Job summary

QXO is seeking a Manager, Transportation Safety to lead enterprise safety programs across a nationwide operation. You will drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety by coaching field leaders and coordinating with EHS teams.

The role emphasizes program implementation, data analytics, and collaboration across Operations, Transportation, Facilities, HR, and IT to embed safety into daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation safety, fleet operations, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and transportation safety regulations.
• Experience implementing safety programs, policies, or technologies in field-based environments.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Transportation Safety Program within an assigned business unit.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Administer programs for driver qualification, hours-of-service, collision mitigation, and telematics.
• Monitor safety performance and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
• Partner with field teams to implement safety processes, technologies, and initiatives.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
