Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in transportation and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of LTL, FTL, white-glove delivery, and specialized transportation.
• Knowledge of rigging, material-handling, and equipment-delivery requirements or ability to coordinate with qualified personnel/vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, dispatch platforms, ERP systems, and other operational software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, evaluate, and compare transportation and rigging quotes across modes.
• Coordinate with providers to confirm scope, scheduling, pricing, and service expectations; escalate issues as needed.
• Assess internal vs. external resources to fulfill transportation and rigging requirements.
• Identify and communicate issues that may affect schedules, budgets, or timelines, and help develop alternatives.
• Monitor shipments and maintain transportation schedules for internal and external resources.
• Coordinate timely transport to installation sites based on project schedules.
• Maintain transportation and rigging documentation and enter data into ERP systems.
• Track costs, vendor quotes, and related operational information for project cost management.
