Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to support the Georgia Department of Transportation's TIA program, overseeing Heart of Georgia Altamaha project delivery and coordinating with GDOT, local governments, and consultants. The role emphasizes schedule adherence, budget control, and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualified candidates will have GDOT-related experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead multi-agency initiatives across complex transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field and 4+ years of roadway construction or transportation project management.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 projects from initiation through closeout.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with GDOT, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables for successful execution.
• Coordinate with local governments on status and delivery of locally let projects.
• Provide guidance to technical staff and ensure compliance with GDOT policies.
