Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager in Georgia to oversee the Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 program, coordinating GDOT, local agencies and consultants through the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes schedule control, budget management, and strong stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery of complex transportation projects in the Heart of Georgia Altamaha region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field with 4 years of roadway construction or project management experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites and offices.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 (2023-2032) transportation projects.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with GDOT, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with local governments regarding the status and delivery of locally let projects.
• Provide guidance and coordination to project support personnel.
