Job summary

Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage loads, coordinate with carriers, and ensure on-time delivery from a remote US location. The role collaborates with supply chain partners and uses SAP and FourKites for tracking and reporting.

The position supports a 7-month term with regular M-F hours and potential overtime while training near designated Midwest and national sites. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years in Customer Service in a manufacturing or transportation environment.
High School Diploma.
Ability to work fluently in Web-based Systems: SAP, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

Timely follow up on loads to determine on time delivery or correct reason code.
Daily load tracking in FourKites and update system accordingly.
Manage on-time delivery and communicate status to stakeholders.
Tendering loads to carriers and ensure SRG routing guidance.
Monitor shipments and adjust plans for changing needs.
Address detention and other accessorial information per business rules.
Lead carrier training sessions on Carrier Portal as needed.
