Labela is seeking U.S.-based transplant surgeons to serve as clinical consultants for AI safety and accuracy. The role is fully remote with flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around medical training or clinical duties.

Engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026, prioritizing candidates in Texas while remote across the United States. Ideal candidates are board-certified/eligible in surgery (ABS) with 2+ years of postgraduate training, currently in or having completed senior residency

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery (ABS).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• Citizenship: Based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review AI-generated diagnostic strategies.
• High-Complexity Validation for transplant cases and candidacy.
• Safety Oversight: identify inaccuracies impacting patient safety.
• Strategic Consulting: advise on AI-driven decision support tools.
