Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Transplant RN Coordinator II to join the Transplant Center. This remote position supports rotating nights, weekends, and holidays and requires high motivation to promote quality patient care.

Under supervision, the RN Coordinator II applies advanced clinical management and education, develops staff, and stays updated on UNOS and CMS changes. Training begins on-site in downtown Charleston and continues remotely with a preceptor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with at least three years of RN experience.
• Transplant nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with diverse groups and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies advanced clinical management for transplant populations.
• Provides training to new staff and stays current with UNOS and CMS regulations.
• On-site training during ramp-up; remote with preceptor as needed.
