Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation seeks a remote US-based professional to support Lung Bioengineering's mission, establishing and maintaining relationships with transplant centers and OPOs. You will train medical staff on EVLP devices and document communications across engagements.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in organ procurement or thoracic transplant spaces, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or clinical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as an organ procurement coordinator or related transplant role.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with TXCs and/or OPOs.
• Experience training physicians in transplant or cardiothoracic space.
• Proficiency in OPO processes and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.
• Strong verbal presentation skills and self-direction with organizational prowess.
• Familiar with UNOS policies and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TXC/OPO decision-makers to provide clinical education on LBE services.
• Train and onboard medical professionals on LBE services and EVLP devices.
• Maintain timely post-EVLP communications with TXC/OPOs for debriefs and improvements.
• Visit TXC/OPOs regularly to sustain relationships and identify workflow improvements.
• Develop solutions for ongoing TXC/OPO needs, including workflows and communications.
• Represent LBE’s services in conferences, meetings, and symposia and report to stakeholders.
