Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for an Infrastructure Industrial Designer to join our Design Engineering Group. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary teams across rail, transit and associated facilities in North America.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years in industrial engineering design, and collaboration with offices and consultants. Travel and hybrid work in NY, Raleigh, or Lone Tree support projects nationwide with strong benefits and growth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or higher.
10+ years’ experience in industrial engineering design.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in at least one state.
Experience with Design-Build or other delivery methods preferred.
Established relationships with transportation agencies.

Responsibilities

Advance technical and business applications of the transportation infrastructure facilities group.
Coordinate industrial building activities across offices and consultants in the USA and Canada.
Lead design tasks and develop plans, specifications, and estimates for train and bus facilities.
Develop scopes, schedules and budgets for industrial designs and site layouts.
Provide technical reviews at conceptual and final design stages.
