Job summary

Cherry Bekaert’s Transaction Tax Services group seeks a Senior Manager to lead complex tax engagements for PE sponsors, family offices, and strategic acquirers across the middle market. This remote, national team emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and the delivery of sophisticated tax solutions.

You will guide mergers, restructurings, and strategic transactions, advising clients on tax planning and ensuring high-quality results while developing talent and contributing to practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced degree and/or CPA/JD/MST/LLM preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transaction tax engagements including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and other significant corporate transactions
• Advise clients on transaction tax implications, planning opportunities and strategies
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives across complex transactions
• Act as trusted advisor to clients, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver tax solutions
• Lead, coach and mentor tax professionals and contribute to talent development
• Monitor and communicate changes in tax legislation and their impact on clients
• Support practice growth by identifying business development opportunities and contributing to proposals
