Job summary
Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its National Tax Office (NTO) to provide advanced federal tax expertise on corporate, partnership, and M&A matters. This highly visible role offers training, development, and opportunities to influence firm-wide tax positions.
You will work with NTO members to develop technical resources, draft memoranda, and support thought leadership while coordinating with professionals across the firm to drive best practices and client service.
Qualifications
- CPA or JD required.
- 10+ years of experience with federal tax issues.
- Significant experience in business taxation within a Big 4, national, or regional public accounting firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide federal tax consulting and advisory services to clients and internal teams.
- Research and write technical tax memoranda.
- Develop thought leadership and external marketing materials.
- Analyze laws and regulations and produce guidance for clients and the firm.
- Deliver internal staff training on tax issues.
- Assist with webinars and client presentations.
- Support firm-wide quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with M&A professionals on tax matters.
