Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver curricula for child welfare training statewide. The role involves both in-person and online instruction, aligning with quality standards and policies.

This fully remote position requires regular travel to training centers across North Carolina, with overnight stays as needed. The candidate will develop courses, manage schedules, and collaborate with a team to improve practice and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required or foreign degree equivalent, or relevant alternative with experience.
  • Candidates must be able to travel to training sites across the state.
  • Ability to work autonomously with broad direction is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate curricula and instructional programs in person, classroom, and online environments.
  • Coordinate continuing education activities to meet statewide training needs across 100 county DSS offices.
  • Facilitate large and small groups, provide training, and support implementation across projects.
