Job summary

University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) seeks a Program Specialist to deliver training and local coaching for High Fidelity Wraparound implementations across sites statewide. The role emphasizes family-driven care and collaboration with partners to strengthen child and youth mental health services.

The position will require travel across North Carolina, with some remote work from home and regular site visits to UNCG and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience with children, youth, and/or families.
• Family Partner credential or Youth/CFPC credential through NFFS or similar.
• Experience providing training from youth/family perspective in behavioral health, child welfare, or related areas.
• Direct provision or oversight of children’s mental health services; caregiver experience with child-serving systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides foundational training in High Fidelity Wraparound for wraparound teams and partners.
• Trains agency leadership to ensure High Fidelity Wraparound implementation and family driven care.
• Collaborates with project manager to resolve local and systemic barriers to outcomes.
• Supports and guides credentialing and coaching processes for staff within agencies.
• Provides family and youth perspectives to inform training content and delivery.
